Nicoli, CBE (born August 5, 1950) has been CEO of EMI Group plc since January 12, 2007 having been Executive Chairman of the group since July 1999. As part of this role, he has direct responsibility for the management of EMI Music, the Group's recorded music business. In addition to his position at EMI, Nicoli has been Non-Executive Chairman of The Tussauds Group since June 2001 and Non-Executive Chairman of the U.K. cinema chain Vue Entertainment since December 2006. He is Chairman of the EMI Music Sound Foundation, a post held since March 2003 and is Chairman of the PerCent Club. He sits on the UK government's Creative Industries Forum on Intellectual Property.
